Project Title

Directional Ultra High Frequency Sensor for Partial-Discharge Monitoring in Gas-Insulated High-Voltage Systems

Funding Agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess either of the following:

• B.E./B.Tech. with GATE qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or a similar circuit branch.

OR

• M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or a similar circuit branch.

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge or research experience in:

• Partial-discharge monitoring

• Ultra-high-frequency sensors

• High-voltage testing techniques

• C#, .NET and Embedded C/C++

• FPGA and Verilog

• Analog and digital system design

• Microcontroller programming

• PCB design

Fellowship

• Junior Research Fellow: INR 37,000 per month plus HRA

• Senior Research Fellow: INR 42,000 per month plus HRA

The fellowship will be provided according to institute and project norms.
