The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) invites applications for two Project Associate-I positions in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) for an ANRF-funded research project focused on communication efficiency and intelligent transportation systems.

Project Information

Project Title:
Communication Efficiency in Federated Learning with Advanced Coding Techniques and NOMA for Intelligent Transportation Systems

Sponsoring Agency:
Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)

Duration of Engagement

• Initial appointment for 6 months on a contract basis

• Extendable for up to 3 years based on performance and fund availability.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or allied disciplines from a recognised university.

Desirable Qualification

• M.Tech degree in any specialisation of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

• Good understanding of:

  • Communication Systems

  • Signal Processing

  • Wireless Communication fundamentals

Allied disciplines refer to B.Tech programmes with fundamental coursework in Communication and Signal Processing.

Fellowship

• INR 37,000 per month + 20% HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE.

• INR 30,000 per month + 20% HRA for other selected candidates.
