National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT AP), Tadepalligudem, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded research project in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates possessing any one of the following qualifications are eligible to apply:

• M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Biochemical Engineering / Nanotechnology / Petrochemical Engineering / Environmental Science / Bioprocess Engineering or allied branches
  with/without valid GATE score

OR

• M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized Institute/University
  with/without valid GATE/NET or equivalent national-level qualification

OR

• B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering or allied branches from Central Institutes/Universities with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 or above

Minimum Marks Requirement

• UR/EWS/OBC-NCL Candidates: Minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5

• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Minimum 55% marks or CGPA 6.0

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Analytical and experimental research experience

• Knowledge of simulation software

• Familiarity with characterization techniques

• Statistical analysis and scientific report writing skills

• Good communication and social skills

• Immediate joining availability

Age Limit

• Preferably below 35 years

• Relaxation applicable for exceptional candidates
