Applications are invited for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (DHR) funded research project at the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong.

Project Overview

• Title: "Advancing Lumbar Spine Disorder Diagnosis with Deep Learning-Based Medical Image Analysis".

• Total Duration: 3 years.

• Department: Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Technology.

Position Details

• Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

• No. of Posts: 01.

• Remuneration: INR 37,000/- per month + HRA (as per funding agency norms).

• Engagement Period: Initially for one year, extendable only till the duration of the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• M.E./M.Tech. in BME, IT, CSE, ECE, MCA, or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Electronics.

• Selection is via National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET and GATE) or through selection processes conducted by Central Government Departments/Agencies (e.g., DST, DBT, DRDO, ICMR, IIT, IISc, etc.).
