NCERT Recruitment 2026: Senior Research Associate (SRA) & Junior Project Fellow (JPF) | Walk-in Interview

The Department of Elementary Education (DEE), National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) invites applications for the engagement of Senior Research Associates (SRA) and Junior Project Fellows (JPF) on a purely temporary and contractual basis under various PAC-approved projects for the academic year 2026–27. Eligible candidates are invited to attend the Walk-in Interview scheduled for 08 July 2026.

• Duration: 12 Months

Eligibility Criteria (JPF)

Applicants should possess:

• Postgraduate degree in Education, Mathematics Education, Mathematics, English, or Hindi.

• Minimum 55% marks for General category candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Desirable Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge.

• Proficiency in MS Office, data processing, and report preparation.

• Good communication skills.

• B.Ed. qualification will be an added advantage.

Age Limit

• Maximum 40 years (Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms).

Fellowship

• NET/Ph.D. Qualified: INR 37,000 per month (Consolidated)

• Non-NET Candidates: INR 35,000 per month (Consolidated)

Selection Process

Eligible candidates must appear for the Walk-in Interview along with the prescribed application form and original documents supporting their educational qualifications, experience, age, and other relevant credentials.
