Fellowship

INR 37,000 per month + HRA (10%)

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:

• Statistics

• Cognitive Science

• Psychology

• Urban/Transportation Planning

• Public Policy

• Computer Science

• Data Science

• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

• Biomedical Engineering

• Or any equivalent/relevant discipline from a recognized institution

Additional Eligibility

Applicants must satisfy JRF eligibility requirements as per applicable DST norms. Candidates from non-CFTI institutions should have qualified one of the following:

• GATE

• CSIR-UGC NET

• UGC-NET

• Any other national-level examination conducted by Central Government departments/agencies/institutions

with a minimum of 60% marks.

Relaxation

• Minimum CGPA: 5.5 for OBC/EWS and SC/ST/PwD candidates

• Minimum Marks: 55% for OBC/EWS and SC/ST/PwD candidates

Research Focus

The selected fellow will contribute to an interdisciplinary research project aimed at:

• Detecting driver fatigue in real time

• Analyzing wearable sensor and behavioural data

• Developing machine learning-based predictive models

• Enhancing road safety through intelligent transportation research
