Project Details

• Project Title: Development of International Centre of Excellence for Dams (ICED) (ICED-2043-MJS)

• Principal Investigator: Prof. M. L. Sharma

• Department: International Centre of Excellence for Dams (ICED)

Roles & Responsibilities

Selected candidates will work on:

• Design Flood Estimation Reports

• Dam Break Modelling

• Inundation Mapping

• Emergency Action Plans

• Reservoir Rule Curves Development

• Operation & Maintenance Manuals (Gated/Ungated Dams)

• Dam Instrumentation & Inflow Forecasting Systems

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Qualifications will be as per Annexure-I (as mentioned in official notification)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in hydrology, dam engineering, and modelling tools

• Experience in water resource engineering projects

Salary / Emoluments

• Salary will be provided as per institute norms

• Depends on post, qualification, and experience

Duration

• Initial appointment for 1 year

• Extendable based on performance and project requirements
