Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
Master’s degree in:
Biotechnology
Microbiology
Life Sciences
Or any allied area of Biological Sciences
Minimum 60% marks in qualifying degree.
Must have qualified:
GATE, or
CSIR-UGC NET
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be involved in advanced research activities including:
Molecular Biology techniques
Gene cloning and protein expression
Molecular virology studies
cDNA preparation
RT-PCR analysis
Mammalian cell culture techniques
In-vitro cell-based viral assays
Virus propagation and quantification studies
Protein production and purification (desirable)

Monthly Fellowship: INR 37,000 + 10% HRA
