The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under a KPMG Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. sponsored research project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Electronics to work on an industry-academia collaborative research project.

Project Duration

• Initial appointment for 6 months.

• Extendable up to 1 year based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.

Fellowship

Selected candidates will receive:

• INR 42,000 per month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• B.Tech. degree in any of the following disciplines:

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Software Engineering

  • Electronics Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI/DS)

  • Related disciplines

• Minimum 6.5 CPI or 60% marks in the qualifying degree.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Research or work experience in Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI).

• Good programming knowledge in Python.

• Strong academic and research background relevant to the project.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 32 Years

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email regarding the schedule for the written test/interview.

Note: No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the written test or interview.
