IIT Mandi Invites Applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position under ANRF-DST Project

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has announced applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-DST funded research project in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The project focuses on studying the influence of meso-climatic conditions on concrete durability and developing predictive models for practical durability design.

Project Title

Study of Meso-Climatic Influences on the Hygrothermal State of Concrete Exposed to Natural Environment and Their Modelling for Pragmatic Durability Design

Fellowship

• INR 37,000 per month + HRA (as applicable)

Essential Qualification

Applicants must possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• A valid GATE qualification obtained at least once during the academic career.

Appointment Duration

• Initial appointment will be for 12 months or until the end of the project (whichever is earlier).

• The appointment may be renewed based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.

Selection Process

• Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications and project requirements.

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online/offline interview, and the details will be communicated individually or through the institute website.
