Multidimensional Assessment of Ecological Dynamics and Ecosystem Health of Selected High Altitude Wetlands of Indian Himalayan Region for Effective Conservation and Management Planning

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science
  OR

• Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a recognized national-level process

Eligible candidates include those selected through:

• CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship)

• GATE

• National-level examinations conducted by central government departments/agencies and institutions such as:

  • DST

  • DBT

  • DAE

  • DOS

  • DRDO

  • MoE

  • ICAR

  • ICMR

  • IITs

  • IISc

  • IISER

  • NISER, etc.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:

• GIS

• Web GIS

• MIS

• DSS

Research Area

The project focuses on ecological assessment and ecosystem health analysis of high-altitude wetlands in the Indian Himalayan Region for conservation and management planning.
