Mechanical Engineering
Production Engineering
Metallurgy / Materials Science
Ceramic Engineering / Polymer Engineering
Related allied disciplines
OR
M.Sc. in:
Materials Science / Physics / Chemistry
(with Mathematics at UG level)
Must have a valid GATE score
Salary / Emoluments
INR 37,000 per month (as per ISRO norms)
Duration
6 Months or till completion of the project
Job Responsibilities
Work on:
Additive manufacturing of Al–Si alloy
Defect-free printing using Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF)
Thermomechanical modelling using FEM tools
Use software/tools:
ABAQUS / ANSYS / COMSOL
Perform:
Material characterization (SEM, XRD, Micro-CT, Optical Microscopy)
