The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has invited applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the research project "VAJRA-BEAM: Versatile Jitter and Doppler-Resistant Analog-Digital Beamforming with Orbital Angular Momentum." Eligible candidates with a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related disciplines and relevant research experience are encouraged to apply.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• B.Tech./B.E./M.E./M.Tech. in:

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC)

  • Electrical Engineering (EE)

• Valid GATE score

• Minimum two years of research experience

Desired Experience

Candidates with the following skills will be preferred:

• Strong foundation in:

  • Digital Communication

  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

  • Wireless Communication

• Knowledge of:

  • Probability Theory

  • Random Processes

  • Linear Algebra

• Programming proficiency in:

  • MATLAB

  • C/C++

  • Python

• Minimum 60% marks throughout the academic career

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 32 Years

Fellowship

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship as per IIT Kharagpur and project norms.
