About the Project

The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge theoretical and computational research in condensed matter physics with a focus on:

  • Strongly correlated systems

  • Topological phases of matter

  • Flat-band systems

  • Quantum entanglement

  • Complexity in many-body systems

  • GPU-based scientific computing

The project aims to develop advanced computational tools and numerical methods for studying correlated topological systems and understanding their physical properties using state-of-the-art many-body techniques.


Job Responsibilities

The Research Associate will be expected to:

  • Conduct theoretical and computational research in condensed matter physics.

  • Develop and optimize scientific codes for GPU architectures.

  • Study topological and strongly correlated quantum systems.

  • Analyze phase characterization using advanced many-body techniques.

  • Work on dynamical mean-field theory and entanglement-based approaches.

  • Contribute to publications in reputed scientific journals.

  • Collaborate with national and international research groups.


Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

Option 1

  • Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or an equivalent degree

OR

Option 2

Candidates having:

with:

  • At least three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience

  • At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal


Desired Skills

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in:

  • Condensed Matter Physics

  • Quantum Many-Body Systems

  • Computational Physics

  • Numerical Simulations

  • High-Performance Computing (HPC)

  • GPU Programming (CUDA/OpenCL)

  • Quantum Entanglement Studies

  • Topological Materials Research
