The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, Research & Development Office, invites applications for the position of Project Engineer II at the Centre for Research Commercialization (CRC, R&D). This contractual position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals in software development, big data technologies, and system integration to contribute to research commercialization initiatives at IIT Indore.

Position Details

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Ph.D. or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as a software developer/engineer.

OR

• M.Tech./M.S./M.Phil. or equivalent in a relevant discipline with 4 years of post-qualification experience as a software developer/engineer.

OR

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc./MCA or equivalent in a relevant discipline with 6 years of post-qualification experience as a software developer/engineer.

OR

• BCA/B.Sc./BA or equivalent in a relevant discipline with 10 years of post-qualification experience as a software developer/engineer.

Note: Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) from Graduation onwards and 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:

• Server management and administration

• Big data technologies including Hadoop and Apache Spark

• Cloud-based technologies

• System and software integration

• Collaboration with industry, educational institutions, and government agencies

• Development and implementation of software solutions on mobile platforms

Salary & Benefits

• Consolidated monthly remuneration of INR 63,000 to INR 1,00,000 (including HRA).

• Accommodation may be provided on a payment basis, subject to institute norms.

• Opportunity to work on research commercialization initiatives at IIT Indore.
