The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore invites applications from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-ARG funded research project titled:
“Artificial Intelligence Enabled Screening of Nanocluster Electrocatalysts: Redefining Volcano-Based Activity Descriptors for Fuel Cell Applications”
This research project focuses on the design and screening of nanocluster electrocatalysts for fuel cell applications using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Machine Learning (ML)-based approaches.

Project Overview
The project aims to develop advanced computational frameworks for identifying and optimizing nanocluster electrocatalysts for fuel cell technologies. The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge research involving:
Density Functional Theory (DFT) simulations
Machine Learning-assisted materials screening
Computational chemistry and catalysis
Fuel cell electrocatalyst design and optimization
Essential Qualification
Candidates must possess:
M.Sc. in Chemistry
Candidates with relevant research experience, computational chemistry exposure, and valid NET/GATE qualifications will be preferred.
Fellowship & Duration
Fellowship will be provided as per ANRF-ARG and IIT Indore norms.
Initial appointment will be for one year.
The position may be extended for up to two years based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
