The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation-funded project in the Department of Physics.

Project Title

“Matrix Inhomogeneity and Degradation Regulate Tissue Growth”

Monthly Stipend

INR 37,000 plus 27% HRA per month

HRA will be provided only when hostel accommodation is not allotted.

Essential Qualification

Applicants must possess:

• M.Sc. in Physics or B.Tech. in Engineering Physics from a recognised institution with at least 60% marks.

Candidates must also satisfy at least one of the following conditions:

• Valid GATE score

• DST INSPIRE Fellowship

• CSIR-UGC JRF qualification

• CGPA of 9.0 or above from a Centrally Funded Technical Institution

Desirable Skills

Candidates should have a strong interest in programming. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in computational physics and solving partial or ordinary differential equations using:

• Python

• C or C++

• Fortran

• MATLAB
