Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science
    OR

  • Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course

Selected through any one of the following:

Accepted National-Level Qualifications:

  • CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship)

  • GATE

OR

Selection through National-Level Examinations conducted by:

  • DST

  • DBT

  • DAE

  • DOS

  • DRDO

  • Ministry of Education (MoE)

  • ICAR

  • ICMR

  • IITs

  • IISc

  • IISER

  • NISER

  • etc.


Desired Skills & Experience

Applicants with the following skills will be preferred:

  • Comfortable with Python and ML libraries such as:

    • PyTorch

    • Scikit-learn

    • NumPy

    • Pandas

  • Experience in building ML projects:

    • Course projects

    • Hackathons

    • Internships

    • Open-source contributions

  • Familiarity with:

    • Git & GitHub

    • Clean and reproducible coding practices

  • Interest in:

    • Remote sensing

    • Satellite imagery

    • Geospatial data

    • Agriculture and climate-related applications

  • Good research reading and technical writing skills
