Fellowship

• Monthly Fellowship: INR 54,600

• House Rent Allowance (HRA): INR 12,600 per month (if applicable)

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• M.Tech./M.S./M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA (10-point scale).

• Qualified CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply, provided the degree is awarded before joining, as per institute norms.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Large-scale dataset validation, error analysis, and annotation quality assessment.

• Designing reproducible experiments and proper evaluation methodologies.

• Python programming using NLTK, Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, and similar tools.

• Web development technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, and backend frameworks.

• Database technologies such as Flask, Nginx, MongoDB, SQL, Elasticsearch, or similar platforms.

• Writing efficient, clean, and maintainable Python code.

• Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.

• Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Multimodal AI.

• Research publications in reputed journals or top AI conferences will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

The selected Senior Research Fellow will:

• Develop and evaluate multimodal AI models.

• Build and validate large-scale datasets for AI research.

• Design experiments and benchmark AI systems.

• Develop data processing pipelines and backend tools.

• Collaborate with researchers on foundation model development.

• Prepare technical reports, research publications, and project documentation.

• Support project activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
