Salary

• Consolidated Fellowship: INR 75,400 per month

• House Rent Allowance (HRA): INR 17,400 per month (if applicable)

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or allied disciplines with a relevant background.

• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply, provided the degree is awarded before joining.

• At least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in Class 10th and 12th.

• Publication record in reputed peer-reviewed journals or top AI conferences is desirable.

Desired Skills & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Python and PyTorch programming.

• Vision-language models and large language models (LLMs).

• Training and fine-tuning large-scale transformer architectures.

• Multimodal AI research and experimentation.

• Top-tier AI conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ACL, EMNLP, etc.

• Leading and mentoring research teams, SRFs, Technical Assistants, and junior researchers.

• AI system development, experimentation, and technical documentation.

• Writing research papers, grant proposals, patents, and project reports.

Roles & Responsibilities

The selected Research Associate will be responsible for:

• Developing large-scale multimodal AI datasets.

• Designing and training foundation models for AI applications.

• Conducting advanced AI experiments using transformer architectures.

• Supervising junior researchers and project staff.

• Publishing research in high-impact journals and conferences.

• Preparing technical reports, grant proposals, patents, and research documentation.

• Identifying research challenges and developing innovative AI solutions.
