IIT Gandhinagar Invites Applications for Project Associate-I Position

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has invited applications for the position of Project Associate-I under the Centre for Creative Learning. This is a one-year contractual opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or related disciplines who are passionate about educational technology, programming, and creative learning.

Position Details

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary ranging from INR 45,000 to INR 70,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• B.Tech./B.E. in:

  • Computer Science and Engineering

  • Electronics

  • Information Technology

  • Or an equivalent discipline

• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% in Class 10 and 12.

• Candidates awaiting final semester results may also apply, provided they submit the final result before the last date of publication of the advertisement.

Desired Skills & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in Computer Science or Computer Systems.

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or experience with pedagogical or educational software.

• Experience in creating and disseminating pedagogical videos or educational content.

• Understanding of computer systems.

• Experience in creating pedagogical tools, hardware, or educational kits.

• Interest in developing innovative learning resources and educational solutions for schools and outreach programmes.

Job Role

The selected candidate will contribute to the development of educational technologies and learning resources under the Centre for Creative Learning. Responsibilities include designing educational software and hardware solutions, creating teaching materials, supporting outreach activities, and contributing to innovative STEM education initiatives.
