Roles & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Perform quantum-chemical calculations

• Study catalytic hydrogen-transfer reactions

• Analyze tunnelling effects on:

  • Reaction rates

  • Kinetic Isotope Effects (KIEs)

• Assist in developing design rules for tunnelling-enhanced catalysts

• Work on applications in:

  • C–H activation

  • Hydrogen-release chemistry

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• M.Sc. in Chemistry

• Must have:

  • CSIR-UGC NET (LS) qualification
    OR

  • Valid GATE score

Desirable Skills

• Experience in computational catalysis

• Familiarity with software:

  • ORCA

  • Gaussian 16

Salary

• INR 37,000/- per month

• HRA: As per funding agency norms

Duration

• 1 Year (Extendable) based on performance
