The selected candidate will:
Perform quantum-chemical calculations
Study catalytic hydrogen-transfer reactions
Analyze tunnelling effects on:
Reaction rates
Kinetic Isotope Effects (KIEs)
Assist in developing design rules for tunnelling-enhanced catalysts
Work on applications in:
C–H activation
Hydrogen-release chemistry
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification
M.Sc. in Chemistry
Must have:
CSIR-UGC NET (LS) qualification
ORValid GATE score
Desirable Skills
Experience in computational catalysis
Familiarity with software:
ORCA
Gaussian 16
Salary
INR 37,000/- per month
HRA: As per funding agency norms
Duration
1 Year (Extendable) based on performance
