Ravine Processes, Its Growth and Impact on Neighbouring Localities, Sabarmati River Basin

Job Responsibilities

  • RS/GIS analysis of ravine landscapes.

  • Field measurements and drone-based mapping.

  • Research report preparation.

  • Scientific paper writing.


Project 2

Project Title

C-NARMADA

Job Responsibilities

  • RS/GIS analysis of geomorphic regions.

  • Hydrogeological and geomorphological modelling.

  • Field investigations using ADCP and survey instruments.

  • Research paper and project report preparation.


Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • M.Tech.

  • M.S.

  • M.Phil.

  • M.Sc.

  • Or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.

Academic Requirement

  • Minimum 60% marks (or equivalent grade) from graduation onwards.

  • Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.


Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

  • Ph.D. in Earth Sciences or related disciplines.

  • Specialization in Fluvial Geomorphology.

  • Experience in:

    • Sediment Transport Modelling

    • River and Ravine Geomorphology

    • Geospatial Analysis

    • Field-Based Geomorphological Investigations
