Fellowship & Remuneration
Consolidated Fellowship: INR. 37,000/- per month
House Rent Allowance (HRA): + 27% HRA on the base consolidated amount.
Note: For retired or superannuated government employees, the salary will be fixed in accordance with prevailing IRD norms.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Degree: 1st Class B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. or an equivalent degree in:
Energy Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Applied Mechanics
Exam Gatekeepers: Passing of NET / GATE test.
Core Competency: Candidates should possess sound knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat and Mass Transfer.
NET/GATE Relaxation Rule
The requirement for a NET/GATE examination may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks). A valid GATE score is helpful but not mandatory for these specific CFTI graduates.
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing an experimental test facility of cavitating flow in a hydrofoil.
Relaxations
A 5% relaxation of marks is applicable to SC/ST candidates.
