Fellowship & Remuneration

  • Consolidated Fellowship: INR. 37,000/- per month

  • Note: For retired or superannuated government employees, the salary will be fixed in accordance with prevailing IRD norms.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree: 1st Class B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. or an equivalent degree in:

    • Energy Engineering

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • Applied Mechanics

  • Exam Gatekeepers: Passing of NET / GATE test.

  • Core Competency: Candidates should possess sound knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat and Mass Transfer.

NET/GATE Relaxation Rule

  • The requirement for a NET/GATE examination may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks). A valid GATE score is helpful but not mandatory for these specific CFTI graduates.

Job Description

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing an experimental test facility of cavitating flow in a hydrofoil.

Relaxations

  • A 5% relaxation of marks is applicable to SC/ST candidates.
