Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification
Candidates must possess:
M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
Minimum 60% Marks or CGPA 7.0 and above on a 10-point scale.
Must have qualified:
NET, or
GATE, or
Any National-Level JRF Eligibility Test.
Required Skills
Candidates should have experience in:
Electronic structure calculations.
Molecular modelling.
Molecular dynamics simulations.
Programming skills in C++ and Python.
Strong foundation in mathematics.
Special Provision
The requirement of NET/GATE qualification for JRF selection may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA above 8.0 (80% marks).

Important Instructions
The appointment is purely temporary and project-based.
The position is renewable annually based on performance and project requirements.
IIT Delhi reserves the right to apply higher criteria for shortlisting candidates.

SC/ST candidates may receive a 5% relaxation in marks as per institute norms.
Retired/superannuated government employees may also be considered as per IIT Delhi rules.
