Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 60% Marks or CGPA 7.0 and above on a 10-point scale.

  • Must have qualified:

    • NET, or

    • GATE, or

    • Any National-Level JRF Eligibility Test.

Required Skills

Candidates should have experience in:

  • Electronic structure calculations.

  • Molecular modelling.

  • Molecular dynamics simulations.

  • Programming skills in C++ and Python.

  • Strong foundation in mathematics.

Special Provision

The requirement of NET/GATE qualification for JRF selection may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA above 8.0 (80% marks).
