Project Title

Design and Development of a Sweating Thermal Mannequin Instrument for Performance Evaluation of Technical Textiles

Essential Qualification

Applicants should possess:

• B.Tech./B.E. in:

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Textile Engineering

  • Design Engineering

  • Or a closely related specialization

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in manufacturing processes and product development.

• Knowledge of mechanical, textile, or design engineering.

• Experience in fabrication and automation of instruments.

• Programming skills in C++, MATLAB, or other programming languages.

• Technical writing and research publication experience.

• Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary research team.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the design and development of a sweating thermal mannequin system.

• Supporting research activities related to the performance evaluation of technical textiles.

• Participating in fabrication, testing, and automation of research instruments.

• Preparing technical reports, documentation, and project-related correspondence.

• Coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders.

• Contributing to interdisciplinary research and project implementation.
