IIT Bhilai Invites Applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Under ANRF-Funded Project

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)-funded research project.

Position Details

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Number of Vacancies: 01

• Project Title: Enabling Next-Generation Last-Meter Connectivity: Design and Analysis of Low Power Pinching Antennas Based System

• Principal Investigator: Dr. Arzad Alam Kherani, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, IIT Bhilai

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess either:

• B.E./B.Tech. in ECE, EE, or allied disciplines with First Class (minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; 55% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE qualification, OR

• M.E./M.Tech. in ECE, EE, or allied disciplines with specialization relevant to the project, First Class (minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; 55% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE qualification.

Salary & Tenure

• Fellowship: INR 37,000 per month + 20% HRA

• Duration: Initially 1 year, extendable based on project funding availability.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 years

• Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms.
