The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Project Associate-II in a DST-funded research project under the National Quantum Mission (NQM).

Project Title

Development of tamper-proof SCAFI-resistant 100 Gbps post-quantum in-line IP network encryptor, Post-Quantum TLS ASIC (PQ-TLS), TLS Accelerator PCIe card using PQ-TLS ASIC for TLS offloading in servers

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, BVSc, B.Pharm, Engineering, Technology, Medicine, or equivalent from a recognized university; and

• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in:

  • Embedded Systems

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Strong foundations in Mathematics

• Knowledge of Computer Science and Programming

• Understanding of Cryptography and Post-Quantum Cryptography

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage project activities independently

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 35 years

Fellowship

• INR 42,000 per month + 18% HRA for candidates selected through:

  • CSIR-UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship), or

  • GATE, or

  • National-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies/Institutions.

• INR 33,000 per month + 18% HRA for other eligible candidates who do not fall under the above categories.

• Quantum-safe TLS hardware accelerators
