The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) invites applications from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF (ARG) funded research project in the field of quantum and condensed matter physics.

Position Overview

Project Details

Fellowship / Salary

• ₹37,000 per month (JRF) (as per norms)

Eligibility Criteria

• M.Sc. in Physical Sciences

• Must have:

  • Valid GATE / NET or equivalent national-level qualification

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in experimental condensed matter physics

• Prior exposure to laboratory-based research

Research Focus

The project explores:

• Quantum magnetic phases in rare-earth oxide materials

• Advanced condensed matter physics experiments

• Fundamental research contributing to quantum materials science
