The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded research project.
The project focuses on the theoretical investigation of robust topological quantum channels in novel dissipative phases of matter using quantum information concepts.

Project Title
Theoretical Investigation of Robust Topological Quantum Channels in Novel Dissipative Phases of Matter and Their Characterisation Using Quantum Information Concepts
Essential Qualification
Applicants should possess:
Master's Degree in Physics (MS–MS/M.Sc.) or an equivalent qualification.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of one or more of the following areas:
Quantum Condensed Matter Theory
Quantum Field Theory
Quantum Information
Additional desirable skills include:
Programming in Mathematica and/or Python
Valid CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship) qualification
Valid GATE qualification
Fellowship
INR 37,000 per month
House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per applicable rules
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 30 Years
