IISER Thiruvananthapuram Invites Applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Under ANRF-Funded Project

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Thiruvananthapuram has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contractual basis under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)-funded research project. Position Details

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Number of Posts: 01

• Funding Agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)

• Project Title: Structure-Based Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of LptA–LptC Lipopolysaccharide Transporter Interface Inhibitors for Combating Multidrug-Resistant Gram-Negative Infections

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

• A Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a relevant discipline.

• A valid NET/GATE or equivalent national-level qualification as prescribed by the funding agency.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Computational drug discovery

• Molecular docking

• Virtual screening

• Pharmacophore modelling

• QSAR studies

Fellowship & Tenure

• Fellowship: INR 37,000 per month + HRA (as per applicable rules)

• Tenure: 2 years, extendable by one additional year based on satisfactory performance.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 years

• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.
