Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

Educational Qualification

  • Postgraduate Degree in Basic Sciences

OR

  • Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in a Professional Course

Additional Eligibility

Candidates should have qualified any one of the following:

  • CSIR-UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship)

  • GATE

  • Other National-Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments, Agencies, or Institutions


Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Academic and technical proficiency in:

    • Microbiology

    • Molecular Biology

    • Immunology

    • Cell Biology

  • At least one year of research experience

Preferred Technical Skills

  • Cell culture techniques

  • Molecular cloning

  • Microscopy

  • Handling bacterial pathogens

  • Infection biology studies

  • BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratory practices


Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 35 years

  • Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India guidelines


Research Exposure

The selected candidate will gain experience in:
