The appointment will be made on a temporary contractual basis. Candidates with a background in biotechnology, computational biology, data science, biology, life sciences, biochemistry, or related disciplines may apply.

Project Title

Unravelling How Intrinsically Disordered Regions Drive Dynamic Allostery Using Integrative Modelling and Machine Learning

The selected candidate will contribute to a research project combining computational biology, molecular modelling, protein science, and machine learning.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must possess a master’s degree in one of the following or a related discipline:

• Biotechnology

• Computational Biology

• Data Science

• Biology

• Life Sciences

• Biochemistry

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks.

The position also requires prior experience at the time of joining.

Applicants should have qualified one of the following:

• CSIR-UGC NET

• GATE

• Any National Level Test conducted by Central Government departments or their agencies

Desirable Experience

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in computational biology techniques, including:

• Molecular dynamics simulations

• Docking

• Python programming

• R programming

• Machine learning

Fellowship

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 37,000 per month plus 10% HRA

The fellowship is consolidated and will be provided to candidates possessing a valid CSIR-UGC JRF, NET, GATE, or other eligible national-level qualification as specified in the advertisement.

Age Limit

Applicants should not be more than 30 years of age as of the closing date of the advertisement.

Age relaxation, where applicable, will be governed by institutional and Government of India rules.

Tenure of Appointment

The position is temporary and renewable every six months, subject to satisfactory performance.

The appointment will continue only up to the duration of the research project and will be co-terminus with the project.
