Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • Ph.D. degree in:

    • High-Energy Nuclear Physics

    • Particle Physics

    • Related areas of Physics

Required Expertise

Applicants should have a strong background in:

  • Physics Data Analysis

  • Detector Research & Development (R&D)

  • Phenomenological Studies in High-Energy Physics

Candidates Awaiting Ph.D. Award

Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply.

Such candidates must provide:

  • A certificate from a competent authority confirming thesis submission

  • Proof that the final viva/defense is pending

Research Requirement

Candidates should demonstrate evidence of conducting high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. programme.


Fellowship

For Candidates Holding a Ph.D. Degree

  • INR 58,000 per month

  • 9% HRA

For Candidates Awaiting Ph.D. Award

  • INR 42,000 per month

  • 9% HRA

Additional Benefit

  • A nominal research grant will be available under the programme.


Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 40 years

  • Age will be calculated as on the closing date of application submission.
