Project Details

Title:

Investigating the Causal Link between Dengue Virus and Pediatric Acute Encephalitis Syndrome using In Vivo and In Vitro Models

Salary / Emoluments

• INR 57,000 per month + 10% HRA

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification (Any one of the following):

• Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in:

  • Natural Sciences / Agricultural Sciences

  • Biomedical Engineering / Biotechnology

  • Medicine (MBBS or equivalent)

  + Minimum 4 years of R&D experience

OR

• Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology
  + Minimum 2 years of R&D experience

OR

• Doctoral Degree (PhD / MD / MS) in:

  • Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma

  • At least one first-author publication indexed in databases like PubMed/Scopus

Desirable Skills

• Experience in:

  • Mammalian cell culture

  • Virus research

  • Protein expression & purification

  • Molecular biology techniques

Age Limit

• Maximum 50 years (as on date of interview)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental research on:

  • Dengue virus and neurological complications

• Work with:

  • In vivo and in vitro models

• Perform laboratory techniques in:

  • Virology

  • Molecular biology

• Assist in data analysis and research reporting
