The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I under an ANRF-funded research project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in Biology, Biotechnology, and Molecular Life Sciences to work on cutting-edge cellular and molecular biology research.

Position Details

Project Title

Fluorogenic Probes for Monitoring Organelle-Specific ATP Dynamics During Pathophysiological States

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Master's Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Desirable Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having prior practical experience in:

• Molecular biology techniques

• PCR

• Western Blotting

• Cloning

• qRT-PCR

• Cell Culture

• Working with model organisms

Fellowship

For JRF Candidates

• INR 37,000 per month + 10% HRA

Applicable to candidates selected through:

• CSIR-UGC NET (including Assistant Professorship)

• GATE

• National-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies

For Project Associate-I Candidates

• INR 30,000 per month + 10% HRA

Applicable to candidates not falling under the above category.

Age Limit

• Preferably not more than 50 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Tenure

• The position is purely temporary.

• Initially renewable after six months based on satisfactory performance.

• The appointment is co-terminus with the project.
