Project Details
Project Title:
Exploring a high-throughput combinatorial approach using heterologous promoters and endogenous signal peptides to enhance commercially important protein production in moss (Physcomitrium patens).
The project focuses on developing advanced molecular approaches for improving commercially significant protein production using moss-based biotechnology platforms.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Botany, or related disciplines
Minimum one year of relevant research experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
Relevant research experience in the related field, particularly in:
Recombinant DNA techniques
Molecular biology
Protein purification studies
BP-LR based cloning techniques
Strong experimental and analytical skills in plant biotechnology and molecular biology research.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to:
Conduct research related to recombinant protein production in Physcomitrium patens.
Design and execute molecular biology and cloning experiments.
Perform protein expression and purification studies.
Analyse experimental data and contribute to scientific publications.
Collaborate with the project team and assist in achieving project objectives and deliverables.
