Project Title:
Comprehensive Assessment and Modelling of Compound Extremes in India Under Changing Climatic Conditions

This research project aims to improve the understanding of compound extreme events and their impacts under changing climate conditions through advanced climate modelling and data-driven analysis.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• M.Tech. / M.S. / M.Sc. in:

  • Atmospheric Sciences

  • Water Resources

  • Related disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Prior research experience in climate modelling.

• Experience in high-performance computing (HPC).

• Strong analytical and computational skills.

• Knowledge of climate datasets and numerical modelling techniques.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved in:

• Performing climate model simulations and runs.

• Analyzing climate and model-generated datasets.

• Assessing compound extreme events under changing climatic conditions.
