Educational Qualification

Applicants should possess:

• M.Sc. / B.Tech. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or an equivalent discipline with a minimum of 70% marks.

• Additional percentage cut-off may be applied during the screening process, if required.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Research experience with MS project work in Drosophila genetics or genomics laboratory.

• Qualified a national eligibility examination such as CSIR-NET, DBT-BET, GATE, or JGEEBILS.

• Basic understanding of Biochemistry and Genetics.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will primarily:

• Conduct research on serine hydrolases in Drosophila.

• Perform laboratory experiments related to molecular biology, genetics, and host defense mechanisms.

• Assist in project-related research activities, data analysis, and documentation as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
