The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali has invited applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Research Associate under a Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India-funded research project. Candidates with a Ph.D. and relevant research experience in molecular biology are encouraged to apply.

Research Project

Project Title:

"Understanding the Mechanistic Basis of Specific Glutathionylation Mediated by the Yeast Glutathione S-Transferase, GTT1"

The selected candidate will contribute to advanced research investigating the molecular mechanisms of glutathionylation and its biological significance under a DBT-funded project.

Project Duration

• 12 months or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

• Research experience in Yeast Biology or Plant Molecular Biology.

Salary

• Emoluments: As per institute/DBT rules.

Selection Process

• Applications will be screened based on eligibility and research experience.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview.
