Project Title

“Crustal Deformation Analysis in the Tectonically Active Regions of the North Eastern Region (NER) Using SAR and GNSS Data”

The project focuses on analysing crustal deformation in tectonically active regions of Northeast India using advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) datasets.

Overview of Role

The selected Junior Research Fellow will contribute to research involving Earth observation, remote sensing, geospatial data and tectonic deformation analysis.

The position is particularly relevant for candidates with academic backgrounds in Earth Sciences, Physics, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, Data Science and related engineering disciplines.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess at least a First-Class Postgraduate Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech.) with a strong academic record in areas such as:

• Data Science

• Closely related disciplines
