Project Title

“Spatiotemporal Street View Data Generation using Deep Learning for Women Safety Perception Mapping of Indian Cities”

Essential Qualification

Applicants should fulfil either of the following requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised institute or university

OR

• M.Tech. with at least three years of research, teaching, design, and development experience

• At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed journal

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge or experience in:

• Deep learning

• Generative artificial intelligence

• Computer vision

• Game engines

• Optimisation

• Augmented reality

• Virtual reality

• Multimodal datasets

• Point-cloud processing

• 3D urban modelling and simulation

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Develop deep-learning models using multimodal datasets

• Work with street-view images, depth images, and point-cloud data

• Develop 3D urban twins and simulation environments

• Conduct optimisation and project-related research activities

• Execute the approved research objectives of the project

• Supervise BS, MS, and PhD students

• Prepare research reports, publications, and presentations

Salary

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 58,000 per month plus HRA, as applicable.

Duration of Appointment

The appointment will initially be for one year.

The tenure may be extended or terminated earlier depending on the candidate’s performance, project requirements, and availability of funds.

Age Limit

Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as on 7 August 2026.

Age relaxation will be applicable to eligible SC, ST, OBC, differently abled, and exceptional candidates according to applicable rules.
