Project Title

Developing Efficient Methods for Real-Time Integration and Interaction of Drone-Derived 3D Point Cloud Data into Virtual and Augmented Reality Environments

Funding Agency: Indian Space Research Organisation, Government of India

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess either of the following:

• M.Tech./M.E./M.S./BS-MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institute or university.

OR

• B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institute or university.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualification

• Knowledge of Python programming

• Knowledge of machine learning

• Experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or related tools

• Knowledge of Android application development

• Familiarity with game engines

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved in:

• Developing deep-learning models for 2D and 3D drone data

• Developing interactive dashboards

• Processing and integrating drone-derived data

• Conducting ground-level data collection and validation

• Supporting virtual and augmented reality applications

Monthly Salary

For candidates with M.Tech./M.E./M.S./BS-MS qualification:

INR 37,000 per month plus 20% HRA

For candidates with B.Tech./B.E. qualification:

INR 25,000 per month plus applicable HRA

The remuneration will be consolidated, with no additional allowances.
