Project Title

“Unmasking Digital Truth: Combating Deepfakes in Audio, Images, and Text for Enhanced Cybersecurity”

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:

• Four-year bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences

• Master’s degree in Natural Sciences

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university or equivalent institution

Applicants must also have qualified through one of the following:

• CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship or Assistant Professorship

• GATE

• A national-level selection examination conducted by Central Government departments, agencies or institutions

Required Skills

Applicants should have:

• Good knowledge of Python programming

• Understanding of machine-learning algorithms

• Familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras and PyTorch

• Knowledge of generative artificial intelligence will be an advantage

Job Responsibilities

The selected Project Associate-I will work on:

• Developing deep-learning and machine-learning models for detecting deepfakes

• Generating deepfake videos using generative AI techniques

• Working with foundation models such as vision-language models and large language models

• Developing AI-based techniques to counter deepfake videos, images and text

• Conducting research with the objective of publishing high-quality academic papers

The advertisement also indicates the possibility of Ph.D. candidature for candidates who perform well and fulfil the applicable project and institutional requirements.

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 37,000 per month plus 20% HRA, as applicable

The amount will be paid on a consolidated basis without additional allowances.
