Project Details

Project Title:
Deep Learning-Based UAV Image Localization on Large-Scale Orthorectified Satellite Maps

The project focuses on developing advanced deep learning methodologies for satellite image matching and UAV image localization, leveraging computer vision, remote sensing, and artificial intelligence techniques.

Position Details

Eligibility

Candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed under:

ANRF Guidelines: ANRF/OM/N-01/2024

Required Skills

Applicants should possess strong knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• Deep Learning and Computer Vision

• Image Retrieval and Metric Learning

• Contrastive Learning techniques

• Visual Place Recognition (VPR)

• Processing satellite imagery and remote sensing data

• Orthorectified map generation and analysis

• GPU acceleration and model optimisation

• Real-time inference systems

• Linux and Git

• Software development best practices

• Edge AI deployment
