The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISER Pune) invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Research Associate-I under an ANRF-funded research project. Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview scheduled on 04 May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. in Chemistry / Physics / Materials Science or related areas

• Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis may also apply

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in optoelectronic materials and devices, such as:

  • Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)

  • Solar Cells

  • Photodetectors

• Hands-on experience in material synthesis and device fabrication

• At least two first-author research publications preferred

Research Focus

The project focuses on:

• Ultra-narrow near-infrared (NIR) emission materials

• Advanced optoelectronic device development

• Fundamental and applied research in materials science and photonics
