The **Indian Institute of Management Lucknow invites applications from eligible candidates for one position of Senior Research Associate / Research Associate in the Decision Science Area under Prof. Deepak Prajapati.

Position Overview

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Statistics / Management (Statistics specialization) or related field

• Strong research competence and subject expertise

• Excellent academic record with First Class throughout

Publication Requirement

• At least one research publication in a peer-reviewed journal (national/international)

• Ability to conduct independent research and apply appropriate methodologies

Desirable Qualifications

• Proven experience in publishing high-quality research papers

• Strong command over:

  • R / MATLAB / Python

  • Statistical tools and data analysis

• Proficiency in:

  • LaTeX writing

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Skills:

  • Critical thinking

  • Problem-solving

  • Communication (written & verbal)

  • Teamwork and attention to detail

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of research experience required for Senior Research Associate

• Candidates must clearly indicate the position they are applying for

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in:

  • Data analysis

  • Literature review

  • Empirical research

  • Preparation of research papers and outputs

Salary / Emoluments

• INR 60,000 – INR 70,000 per month (consolidated)

• Based on qualification and post-Ph.D. experience

• HRA applicable as per institute norms
