Project Duration

The appointment will initially be for at least two years or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will contribute to the development and deployment of AI, machine-learning and Internet of Things solutions for the project.

The AI/ML responsibilities include designing and deploying machine-learning models, working with cloud platforms, managing data collection and enrichment, and integrating models with front-end and back-end applications.

The IoT responsibilities include designing and maintaining embedded systems, sensors, connected devices, cloud-based platforms and communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop embedded systems and IoT solutions that interact with sensors, physical devices and cloud platforms.

• Configure AI models for image recognition, speech-to-text conversion, language detection, data classification, sentence transformation and content generation.

• Train machine-learning models using C, C++ or Python.

• Create suitable prompts for generating relevant outputs from AI models.

• Develop reliable and maintainable firmware for IoT devices.

• Deploy models on AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud or similar platforms.

• Build systems for collecting, analysing and transmitting IoT data for real-time monitoring.

• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

• Test, debug and optimise AI/ML models and IoT devices.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, designers and user-experience teams.

• Manage connectivity protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa and Wi-Fi.
