The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate / Senior Research Associate. This is a purely contractual role within the Strategic Management Area under the guidance of Prof. Priyatam Anurag at the IIM Lucknow – Noida Campus.

Position Overview

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: A Ph.D. in Management, Economics, Sociology, or any other relevant field, demonstrating strong research competence.

• Academic Record: An excellent academic record with First Class performance in Postgraduation (in Management or relevant subjects) from a reputed institute, completed in regular mode.

• Research Output: At least one research publication in a peer-reviewed national or international journal.

• Desirable Experience: Minimum one year of relevant professional experience, preferably in research-oriented roles. Candidates with knowledge of econometrics, qualitative coding techniques, and proficiency in relevant software are highly preferred.

Job Specification

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting Prof. Priyatam Anurag with:

• Primary and secondary data collection and analysis.

• Writing academic reports and conducting comprehensive literature reviews.

• Empirical work and preparation of research outputs.
