The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions under a Telecom Technology Development Fund (TTDF) – Telecom Centre of Excellence (TCoE) sponsored research project.

Project Title

Design and Development of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Algorithms and Security Analysis: Code Based

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will:

• Carry out research activities related to the project.

• Assist in ensuring the timely and successful completion of project objectives.

• Prepare initial drafts of reports, programmes, manuscripts, and patents arising from the project in consultation with the Principal Investigators.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should satisfy any one of the following:

1. Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with:

   • Minimum CGPA of 6.5/10, OR

   • 60% marks

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with:

   • Minimum CGPA of 7.5/10, OR

   • 70% marks

3. Master’s Degree in Science in a relevant area with:

   • Minimum CGPA of 6.5/10, OR

   • 60% marks

Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must be GATE/NET qualified.

Additional Requirement: Practical knowledge of one or more programming languages, including C/C++ and Python, along with good written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge or experience in:

• Computer Programming

• Digital VLSI (from algorithm to chip design)

• Coding Theory

• Cryptography

Fellowship

• JRF Fellowship: INR 37,000 per month + HRA
  (Inclusive of applicable institute norms.)
